We understand that First Group are to discontinue their route 253 Edinburgh – Berwick-upon-Tweed service on 30 September 2011. The service was introduced for a ‘trial period’, and has been plagued by breakdowns and poor timekeeping.
Crowhill, Innerwick and Thurston will continue to be served by the 2-hourly service provided by Perrymans, which will continue as before.
