BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, are planning to carry out essential resurfacing works to a section of the A1 trunk road, at the northbound approach to Thistly Cross roundabout. The works are programmed to be carried out under a full road closure from Dunbar to Haddington between 7:30pm – 6am from Tuesday 1st to Friday 4th March, with a signed diversion route in place. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times and physical distancing measures in line with Scottish Government guidance will be in place on site to ensure the safety of site staff. Local access will also be maintained throughout the duration of the works, although some disruption is inevitable.
