Permanent drop-in Covid-19 vaccination clinic at East Lothian Community Hospital from 7th July


THE East Lothian Community Hospital will become a permanent drop-in Covid-19 vaccination clinic from today (Wednesday 7th July).

The Haddington facility will be open every day including weekends for all adults over 18.

It will be open 8.30am-12.30pm and 1.30-3.30pm.

Those with scheduled appointments and those without can all attend.

People still to receive their first dose can visit the clinic, as can those waiting for a second dose who received their first dose more than eight weeks ago.

Covid-19 Vaccine Drop In for Over 18s at Community Hospital This Weekend

EAST Lothian Community Hospital is again being used as a Covid-19 vaccine drop-in centre.

People over the age of 18 can visit the Haddington hospital either today (Saturday 3 July) or tomorrow (Sunday 4 July).

The hospital will be open as a drop-in centre from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm both days for anyone over the age of 18.

Anyone attending needs to have not received their first dose, or it has been more than eight weeks since the first dose.

New NHS Lothian Mental Health Service

This newly established NHS service is accessible to people aged 18 and upwards who are registered with an East Lothian GP practice and are looking for support with their mental health. The team is staffed by experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapists and Community Mental Health Nurses who will work with patients with symptoms of anxiety, emotional distress, low mood, psychosis, known mental health problems, depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

There is no requirement to contact your GP Practice first. Patients can self refer to the service by contacting the team (based at East Lothian Community Hospital) on the telephone number above. Due to the Covid19 crisis, consultations will be telephone based with the option to also use video conferencing.
