The following safety information has been circulated on behalf of the Scottish Government in support of the book your booster campaign.

We unfortunately find ourselves in a situation where Covid-19 is impacting all our lives again with the fast growth of the Omicron variant. It’s more important than ever to get as many people as possible boosted and boosted as quickly as possible.

Covid-19 Vaccine Drop In for Over 18s at Community Hospital This Weekend

EAST Lothian Community Hospital is again being used as a Covid-19 vaccine drop-in centre.

People over the age of 18 can visit the Haddington hospital either today (Saturday 3 July) or tomorrow (Sunday 4 July).

The hospital will be open as a drop-in centre from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm both days for anyone over the age of 18.

Anyone attending needs to have not received their first dose, or it has been more than eight weeks since the first dose.

Covid-19 Vaccination Drop-In at Community Hospital This Weekend For the Over 40s

EAST Lothian Community Hospital will be used as a Covid-19 vaccine drop-in centre this weekend.

People over the age of 40 can visit the Haddington hospital either today (Saturday) or Sunday for their first or second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The hospital will be open for drop-in vaccinations from 8.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm on both days.

Anyone over the age of 40, who have not yet had their first dose – for whatever reason – can attend the clinic without an appointment, while those who are waiting for their second dose can turn up as long as they received their first injection of the AstraZeneca vaccine at least eight weeks before.

You do not need to be registered with a GP to come to a drop-in clinic

People will be seen on a first come first served basis.
