The Community Council covers the more rural areas of the Dunbar and East Linton Ward of East Lothian Council, in particular the villages of Innerwick, Oldhamstocks, Spott and Stenton.

There are 20 Community Councils in East Lothian. Led by volunteers, each is charged with ascertaining the views of local residents and representing those views to East Lothian Council, and doing their best to keep local people informed about the Community Council’s activities.  This website is part of our attempt to discharge this duty.  We also plan to produce a newsletter, at timely intervals, to be distributed locally.

Meetings –  every 6-8 weeks – are held in rotation in the village halls of Innerwick, Spott, Stenton and Oldhamstocks. Minutes of meetings can be viewed on this website under the ‘About’ top menu.

Members of the public are welcome to attend any Community Council meeting.
