Aldi Covid Update
Extended shopping hours Mon-Sat 8pm-10pm.
All day everyday key workers in the NHS, Police and Fire Service will take priority ahead of queues into our stores upon showing a valid ID. We have extended our priority shopping time for emergency workers which will now include all groups entitled to a Blue Light card. This includes all Social Care Workers, First Responders and St John’s Ambulance staff, amongst many others. This is in addition to early access on a Sunday, where they can enter stores 30 minutes prior to opening.
We also opening 30 minutes early Monday – Saturday for the Elderly (over 70) and vulnerable.
Restrictions: 12 units per online order on Wines or Spirits
Food Parcels (22 everyday foods and essential household items, and a few treats too) priced £24.99 can be delivered within 2-3 working days straight to your door for free, with full contactless delivery for self-isolators. Please note, you may experience a small delay in your delivery due to the impact of COVID-19. Please check your order tracking information for delivery updates.

Asda Covid Update
Limits to shopping hours: 8am – 10pm
Vulnerable customers: 8:00am – 9:00am is priority time for the elderly and vulnerable.
Key Workers – 8:00am – 9:00am is priority access for NHS workers every Mon, Wed & Fri and Sundays 9am-10am.
Where necessary, the number of customers in our stores will be limited at any one time so social distancing can be observed.
Purchase restrictions: To ensure there is enough for everyone, we will occasionally place purchase limits on certain products that are in high demand
Volunteer Card: The e-card can be bought online and loaded with as much money as the purchaser wants. It can then either be emailed to the volunteer or printed out and left in a safe location for them to collect. The card can then be used contactlessly in store using a barcode, before finally, the volunteer can leave the shopping in a safe location to be collected by the purchaser.
Contactless payments: credit and debit card contactless payment limit amount has now been increased to £45
Asda have introduced food boxes to assist those customers struggling to get to our shops and restock their cupboards. Packed with a selection of cupboard fillers for replenishing your stocks without needing a trip out. Ideal for those self isolating. Typical box contains around 30 items and costs £30 including delivery.

Co-op Covid Update
Limits to shopping hours: Mon – Sat 7:00 – 8:00pm; Sun 8:00am – 8:00pm. In some cases we might have to limit the number of people allowed in our store at one time. Please be patient if that’s the case, but remember that it’s essential to your health and the health of our colleagues.
Purchase restrictions: To make sure there’s enough for everyone in your community, we’re limiting some in-store items to x2 per person. And please only buy what you need.

Co-op have launched a gift card scheme for those shielding or self-isolating and reliant on others to do their shopping. By calling a dedicated Co-op phoneline on 0800 029 4592, they can purchase a gift card which can be shared with friends, neighbours or volunteers to pay for shopping in their local Co-op store.

Vulnerable customers: Priority hour on Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning from 9:00am – 10:00am (apart from Express stores) for the elderly and vulnerable.
Key Workers – NHS staff will be allowed to do their shopping for an hour ahead of usual opening hours on Sundays upon displaying their NHS employee card.

- Where necessary, we’ll limit the flow of people coming into our stores to make sure they don’t get too busy.

- In some stores, we’ll introduce directional floor markings and new signs to create a safe flow of movement around the store.
- New floor markings will help you to keep a safe distance from others while waiting to pay.
- We’re installing protective screens at our checkouts.
