Starting on Monday 30 May, First Group introduced a two-hourly bus service between Edinburgh and Berwick-Upon-Tweed, following the 253 route already operated – also two-hourly – by Perrymans. The two timetables combine to provide an hourly service on this route. Timetables for the new service are available on the First Bus web site, and copies have been posted by the community council on the noticeboard outside Innerwick Village Hall and in the bus shelters in Main Street and at the entrance to Thurston Manor caravan park.
